1. goddamnit WTF why is the trailer SO FRIGGIN SCARY omg. the trailer definitely scared me waaaay more than the movie did quanfer: I just watched Let The Right One In, an amazing swedish adaptation from a best selling novel.* Don’t believe the trailer, which makes it look like action horror fluff. Although taking place in snowy Sweden,  it’s a warm story (well told and beautifully shot) about an offbeat 12 year old boy who befriends his vampire neighbor, most of the plot centering on the dynamics of their friendship and the boy’s life. The movie has been so well received (98% out of 140 reviews on RottenTomatoes) that its been signed for an American remake with Matt Reeves (Cloverfield guy). *I was not sober during the viewing process.
